The Road To The LPGA Ends In Albany

Mayor Gerald D. Jennings is  proud to continue the ILOVENY Championship to Capital Hills at Albany Golf Course. The ILOVENY Championship marks the third year that we will host the season ending full-field event and we are excited to have the opportunity to showcase the Capital City of New York and our golf facility.

In the three years the Duramed FUTURES Tour has held a tournament at Capital Hills we have seen many of the players that have played right here in Albany go on and have tremendous success on the LPGA Tour.   This years theme “ The Road To The LPGA Ends In Albany” signifies the importance of the 2008 tournament. The top five money earners on the Duramed FUTURES money list will receive their 2009 LPGA Cards right here in Albany at the end of the ILOVENY Championship. We welcome the opportunity to provide the arena for such a significant event.

This is an opportunity for the entire family to come and watch some of the most talented and up and coming female golf professionals in the world. Whether you’re a life long golfer or just starting out our event gives you and your family and friends the opportunity to see and great golf tournament up close.
